The New Valentino and L’Oreal Beauty Collaboration

The announcement of the new and exciting Valentino and L ‘Oreal beauty collaboration was made on May 28.

The announcement stated that the two brands have joined forces to create and distribute luxury beauty products and fine fragrances starting in January 2019.

“We are thrilled to have been granted the license of Maison Valentino. With its unique combination of prestige and modernity, Valentino definitely will appeal to millennial consumers around the globe and ideally complements our brand portfolio,” said Nicolas Hieronimus, the Deputy CEO of L’Oréal, in the release.

Valentino CEO Stefano Sassi echoed the sentiment: “We are very excited to start this new venture together with L’Oréal to further develop our beauty business. We believe Valentino has great potential within the category and that with L’Oréal’s unparalleled expertise in the sector, we will be able to realize that potential.”

The Valentino brand has debuted plenty of fragrances before, but this collection will be the first time the brand has ventured into cosmetics. This cosmetics collaboration will be a defining move for the designer brand. Currently, there are no details on what type of products you’ll be able to purchase or at what cost.

According to a 2018 Allure report, Valentino has long cited references from hip-hop to Renaissance paintings in its runway beauty looks, so the potential is there for innovative makeup that may even be affordable under L’Oréal Paris’s banner. On the runway, Valentino is known for ethereal beauty with modern flourishes, like angular cat eyes and silvery, delicate-looking skin. Makeup artist Pat McGrath has long been behind Valentino’s runway beauty greatness, and we know that McGrath has no problem turning her own beauty style into mass-market products. Will she be on hand to offer guidance?

If so (or if the brand can release a product to help our skin glow from within like this), we’re already sold.

I tend to focus my attention outwards and am drawn to the external world of action. I learn a lot about the world through experience. Focusing on what I have seen, heard, or touched, gives me the ability to develop a practical and realistic outlook on the world. Making decisions based on impersonal criteria like principles and logic is very important to me.I accept responsibility for my actions. When I succeed, I accept the satisfaction of the achievement, and if I do fail at something, I learn from it and do better next time. I feel confident in my abilities and am accepting of myself. I have good time management skills. I am able to fit the most important things in life into my schedule. I have a strong sense of goal commitment.
