Just two days ago, Selena Gomez posted a photo of three of her Revival Tour dancers in quite scandalous mesh bodysuits. A small patch of frayed denim was the only piece preventing an all out ‘Free the Nipple’ campaign.
Gomez captioned the photo, “My bbs wearing our @revivaltour collection coming soon with @samimiro.” Sami Miró. The same Sami Miró who dated American heartthrob, Zac Efron, just months ago? It is, indeed. Much to our delightful surprise, Miró is the styling expert behind Selena’s recent Revival Tour looks.
In addition to these near nip slip bodysuits, Miró has also created this ultra leather, rock and roll look for Selena’s performance. Miró announced on Instagram last week, “When @selenagomez asks you to design her new #revivaltour looks exclusively with @samimirovintage you come through with a bang! Thank you for this incredible opportunity baby.”
Vintage. We hope you caught that. For Sami Miró is a vintage connoisseur. The designer’s love for vintage sprouted at a young age. She tells Milk, it was at the age of 14 that she began to understand her “Lacoste polo that’s super dated with holes in it and has some stains is way more awesome than your new crisp Lacoste polo.”
From that moment on, Sami has been studying, collecting, all the while imagining a personal spin of her own vintage fashion. Once realizing her vision, it took the stylist only ten day to execute her brand’s conception – and from there we saw the birth of Sami Miró Vintage (SMV, for short).

The collection is a denim celebration with Miró’s now signature mesh and denim bodysuits. Also featured is a denim, patchwork styled bomber jacket that Miró has also custom made for ex Efron and even Beyoncé’s daughter, Blue Ivy. Sami also tells Milk that a series of six denim chokers and hats will be introduced to the collection shortly.
Miró’s paradoxical vintage-made-new collection is available at MADE L.A. – where she originally launched her designs. And now, with a Selena Gomez world tour collaboration well on its way, we’re about to see SMV everywhere.
“Never forget your roots. Stick with vintage.” – Sami Miró Vintage
