You are super stoked to be offered a job, whether it is in your current city or across the country. Before you fully commit to the offer, there are a few things that you should take into consideration.

1.Pay
What are you being offered in terms of pay? Is it a salary or hourly wage? Will you be making more in that position than you do now? Does the responsibilities expected match what monetary value you are being valued?

2. Is the job convenient?
If the position is offered in the city that you are currently in, take into consideration how far away it is from you? Is it an hour drive away? Can you easily hop on the train to get there? Better yet, will you have to pack up all of your things to move across the country? Is this a place that you want to go?
3. What does the job entitle?
Are you aware of the job duties call for? If you are unaware of what the job is about, or you don’t want to do the job then you should either not take the job, or brush up on what the job wants from you.
4. Benefits
What are the perks in taking the job offer? Will you have health insurance? Will a 401k plan be set up for you?
