Czech tennis player, Tomas Berdych, has paired up with clothing company H&M to create a tennis-specific athletic line. The player has been wearing H&M pieces as of late, most notably the blue and white striped tennis shirt paired with red shorts combo that created a splash at the Australian Open. Despite Berdych’s confidence in his look, many took to Twitter to express their shock and disbelief.
Berdych, currently ranked no. 6 in the world, is launching another collection with the brand, H&M. His first collaboration with the company was released in early 2013.
“Function and fashion in a brilliant fusion,” is the description for the line on the H&M website. The line include a preppy navy and white tennis t-shirt, navy and white Hawaiian-esque floral pieces, a sleek sport zip-up jacket with matching tennis shorts, a light blue sweatband, a tennis hat, tennis socks and a tennis shirt with Berdych’s initials, ‘TB.’
Items are priced from $5.95 to $34.95.
