Topshop has just announced it’s latest designer collaboration will be with Halpern, the New York-based clothing brand.

Halpern is known for his show-stopping, 70s-referencing sequins, the recent Central St. Martin’s graduate is joining the likes of Marques’Almeida, Molly Goddard and Christopher Kane in releasing an entire line, solely for the high-street giant, Topshop.

Michael Halpern said of the exciting venture, according to a 2018 Elle report, “I think it’s fabulous that as a younger brand we’re able to work with Topshop, making the type of clothing we do for the main Halpern collection in an accessible way so more people can really feel the glamour. I want the whole world to feel as glam as possible, and this type of collaboration is a fantastic way to accomplish that.”

“We are thrilled to collaborate with Michael; especially at such an exciting time in his career,” said Anthony Cuthbertson, Global Design Director of Topshop Topman, said according to a 2018 Vogue report. “Our capsule embodies the disco spirit and signature feminine silhouettes he is renowned for; we can’t wait to bring the world of Halpern to Topshop with styles that will no doubt kick-start the partywear season for our customers.”

The 28-piece collection will include neon velvet separates, printed two pieces, sequin-adorned jumpsuits and iridescent camouflage print mini dresses, with prices starting at just £35. It will be available in selected Topshop stores globally and online at www.topshop.com from early November 2018.
