Treasure Island Musical Festival has released their line up for the 2-day concert in October.
“The Festival in the Bay” runs from October 18-19 this year in San Francisco, California. Noise Pop & Another Planet Entertainment are hosting the event.
Some of the big bands featured at the event are Outkast, Massive Attack and Zedd. Each band has hyperlinks on the Treasure Island Festival webpage that will link to bios and social media accounts for each of the bands. Other performers attending the event are The Growlers, Classixx, Chet Faker and Ratking, just to name a few.
In the meantime TIF has been tweeting about the event, and asking questions of festival goers to get them more involved. One of the questions was a very common music festival concern, “Festival Survival Question: How do you find a lost friend?”
The announcement of the bands is just in time for the early bird tickets, that go on sale 6/19 at 10am and start at $145.
There are a wider variety of ticket packages that will be sold, such as the 2-Day advance tickets, 2-Day regular tickets, 2-Day VIP tickets, and 2-Day On-Island Parking Passes. There are no specifications at the moment for what each package does, but it is to be assumed that the more prestigious sounding one is, the more you get out of it.
According to the TIF Facebook page, if you won’t have access to a car to take you to Treasure Island, Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco is offering its own shuttle service for attendees.
Festival goers are encouraged to “RSVP” by joining the music festival’s Facebook page, which features more information on the event.
