A solstice celebratory theme is seen through on Trina Turk’s 2015 Resort collection, embarking on a journey to lead us back to the lovely feeling that Spring brings with it. The collection brings bright yellow rays of sunshine, a joyful burst of color and flowery patterns to the table, complimenting and adding to the excitement of the Spring season.
Yellow is among one of the biggest colors used in the collection, seen on a model wearing a block pattern of yellow on a pencil skirt with matching loose fitting tube top, or it be a small burst of color in a tote bag to bring some life to dark blue and white pieces with simple pattern. It’s clear that the desire of these designs is to shine light through each and every piece. Keep all of the shape in her pieces to a strict minimum, the more noticeable aspects of the collection are on the patterns, prints, and thick fabrics that really burst through even the simplest of all the pieces.
