Under Armour is trying to make a name in the fashion industry by opening up a pop-up store in New York City to show off its first ever fashion collection which was released in September.

The show was held Thursday night they had an urban hip-hop feel to them the clothes were unique and different. Under Armour is a newbie when it comes to the high priced fashion.

Although, active-wear sales have increased by 16% in 2015 brands like Adidas, Like and Lululemon continues to grow in growth. This means consumers seek out more brands creating these clothes people can wear.

“UAS is about entering the next chapter of Under Armour. We haven’t even connected with our consumers off the field,” Ben Pruess, president of Sport Fashion at Under Armour told, TheStreet.

The collection was thought out and made by designer Tim Coppens  who was hired as executive producer at Under Armour in June.

The collection really gives off that sport feel that everyone can wear on casual days we look forward to see what else Under Armour has in store for the fashion industry.
