Unveiling the Trendy Brand: What’s Worth Buying

Unveiling the Trendy Brand

Unveiling the Trendy Brand: One cannot overlook the Kardashians’ phenomenal ascent to stardom. The Kardashian family has built a retail empire with a range of enterprises, including Kylie’s lip kits, Kendall’s tequila, and Khloe’s denim. However, none of them has been as profitable as Kim Kardashian’s Skims brand, which is currently valued at $4 billion, more than any other Kardashian commercial effort.

Skims provides a selection of intimates, including loungewear, bras, underwear, and the brand’s well-known shapewear, in sizes XXS–4X. The clever solutions from this firm are made to complement your natural shape by integrating with your body. All of that sounds fantastic, but we were curious about how the shapewear would appear on actual women without the use of studio lighting or Photoshop.

Unveiling the Trendy Brand

We brought them to our Textiles Lab at the Good Housekeeping Institute, where we evaluate various kinds of intimates, such as bras, panties, and shapewear, to determine which purchases made by Skims are genuinely worthwhile. Each item was repeatedly laundered in our lab to guarantee it won’t shrink or wear excessively after laundry, and we stretched each garment to a certain length for two hours before rating how well it returned to its original shape.

In order to make sure the apparel, bras, and shapewear are both pleasant to wear and effective, we also asked consumer testers with a range of body shapes to wear the products in their daily life and then provide detailed feedback. This is what we discovered.

Skims Sculpt Thong Bodysuit Seamless

I was astounded by how little the Seamless Sculpt Thong Bodysuit appeared when I tested it in the lab. It does stretch and adjust to your body size, even though it appears a little out of the package.

Although the material was first difficult for me to stretch out and put on, during our tests, it did return to its previous shape. My stomach was flatter and my waistline was smoother when I was wearing the bodysuit. Unlike previous shapewear bodysuits I’ve tried, this one didn’t make me look flat because there isn’t much compression at the bust. It was tight, so it might be too tight for all-day wear if you’re not used to wearing shapewear.

This bodysuit was the best of all the Skims shapewear that we reviewed in detail. For good cause, it became a social media sensation and is a best seller for the company. According to our testers, it fit true to size. Our testers love wearing this bodysuit as a top on their own, but if you want to go bra-free, be aware that the brighter colors are a little see-through. If your chest is larger than average, some reviewers suggested ordering up a size.
