Valentine’s Day now is a lot different than it was when you were little. Now, it’s about romance, gifts, and dedicating a day to the one you love. Since most boys had “cooties” when you were in elementary school, this certainly wasn’t how you viewed the day back then. Here’s a look back at all the things you did for Valentine’s Day when you were small.
1. Make homemade cards
Perhaps if you’re artistically talented, you still make homemade cards. But most people simply go to the store and find the best one they can. Still, when you were little, you probably cut hearts out of construction paper and scribbled on them with crayon. If you miss those days, why not cut out a few construction hearts and tape them on your windows or around your dorm room? Not only will it be fun, but it’ll also add a bit of Valentine’s Day cheer.
