On Monday night, it was reveled that Vicenzaoro and the Dubai World Trade Center signed an agreement to create a joint company, which they call DV Global Link. Agreeing to split the yearly profits equally, the company has decided to launch a totally new organization. Fiera di Vicenza Dubai, will debut as a luxury jewelry trade show. The show will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, from April 23 – 26.
President of Fiera di Vicenza President Matteo Marzotto says, “This is a turning point for Fiera di Vicenza. Everybody knows us for our jewels, so with this effort we are really trying to project Vicenza in the world.” Confirming that the partnership had taken over two years to finalize, Marzotto continued, “Dubai is one of the areas with the highest growth rate in the world, thousands and thousands of people transit there every year and Dubai also has an extremely strong attitude toward luxury.”
The event will take place between Baselworld and Las Vegas’ JCK. Expecting over 600 luxury label exhibitors to Dubai, it is to said be representative of the most important people in the luxury playpen. A successful outcome will lead to the hosting of the World Expo in 2020.
