A new collection with the Beckham name debuts today, Tuesday, June 10th.
David Beckham designed a capsule collection that includes 10 motorbiking pieces to be sold on the Belstaff website, belstaff.com.
David Beckham’s collection has been long anticipated. The collection was inspired by his own vintage biker jacket collection and will reflect his personal style. Campaign images for the collection were released months prior. The photos were shot by Glen Luchford. Who better to star in the campaign images than the man himself?
Beckham told WWD, “Deciding to work with Belstaff was the easiest decision to make, as I already have a few vintage Belstaff classic jackets in my wardrobe. That, coupled with the fact that I’m a biker, made the perfect fit.”
The former soccer star has always loved motor bikes, but was never allowed to ride them. Now that he is done playing soccer, he told British Vogue that he is looking forward to getting the chance to spend more time riding bikes.
Prices for the pieces in the collection range from $95 for a T-shirt, $395 for pants, to $695 for boots, and $1,950 for a leather jacket.
Not only did Beckham collaborate with Belstaff to create this exclusive capsule collection, but he is also the face of the 2014 global advertising campaign.
