Slip dresses are no longer just for the bedroom. A trend we have been seeing more of recently, is girls incorporating their silk slips into their street style. And we don’t hate it. The beauty in this trend is that there is so many different kinds of slips. They come in a variety of lengths, and many colors and prints. It is such a feminine look that can be worn in many ways.
-For a colder day, throw a chunky sweater over the slip. To keep your legs warm, you can either wear black tights and boots, or throw on a pair of skinny jeans. Add a knit scarf, and you have the ultimate laid back winter look.
-To achieve a flirty feminine look, without being too revealing wear the slip as a tank. Tuck into a pair of skinny jeans, and cover it with a loose cardigan.
-If the dress is long enough, you can wear it as just a dress. But of course, don’t forget tights. Put on an over-sized cardigan, and cinch it at the waist with a skinny belt.
Most of all, have fun with it! Don’t be scared to try something new. Be daring and try wearing a fun and flirty slip outside of the bedroom, and in your everyday look.
