Venice is known for it’s one of a kind canals and Renaissance architecture, dating back to the 16th century. For a city that is slowly sinking, it is one of the most romantic places in the world and the perfect spot for the couple to wed. Feeling right at home, as Clooney owns a Villa just north of Milan, near Lake Como, the couple mingled with close friends and even gave some time to fans and paparazzi.

Friends such as Bill Murray, Matt Damon and Cindy Crawford joined the couple for their happy day, as water taxis filled the historical canals. Clooney brought up the rear, maintaining his dapper, Mr. Cool physique as they entered into the Grand Cannel.

After the engagement in April 2014, the couple has remained very hush-hush as to details of the special day, which has had fans in a tizzy as to if it would actually happen. After his first marriage to Talia Balsam back in 1989-93, Clooney vowed never to tie himself down again. After two decades of dating models and actresses including Celine Balitran, Sarah Larson, Lisa Snowdon and Elisabetta Canalis, Clooney has finally seen the light, and it shines on Amal Alamuddin. It’s been a long road, but he has finally found his match.
