Your Weekend Look: Transitioning from Day to Night

Weekends are the best. The possibilities are endless and so are your wardrobe choices. But if you find yourself pressed for time on Friday (sometimes you just don’t have the time to change when your day is chock full of running around—but you still want to go out with your friends at night), look no further to find two looks—one day and one night—that require only a little (and easy) change.

As of late, the weather has been very unpredictable–sometimes shifting from windy and chilly during the day, to thickly humid at night. So to prepare for your busy workday, weekend, and fun night out, pick a pair of printed, loose fitting pants (like these from Forever 21) that you can get away with in class and the club. A fuzzy, casual, cropped sweater highlights your cool pants, but still keeps you warm. Finish off this casual look with your favorite boots or sneakers, and you’re all set for the day.

For nighttime, a cropped tank (like this V-neck one from Topshop) turns the volume up on your look—and is ideal for those hot and sweaty clubs. Swap in a pair of wedges (like this versatile pair from Jessica Simpson) and a clutch bag, and you are completely ready to hit the town.
