R. Kelly was visited by the parents of a woman he is alleged to have coerced into a sexual relationship,  along with police officers. The team was doing a wellness check to make sure that the woman was alright. Kelly, who is known to have a sex dungeon in Chicago, has faced many sexually deviant charges in the past that have been proven to be true. In regards to the most recent allegations, his attorney says that these accusations are not true and were made up by, “individuals known to be dishonest … with personal agendas.” The attorney also says that, “Mr. Robert Kelly is both alarmed and disturbed at the recent revelations attributed to him. Mr. Kelly unequivocally denies such allegations and will work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and clear his name.”

An alleged confidant said that, “R. Kelly could be in real trouble if the feds begin investigating him,” and, “What they find could put him away for a long time!” They also mentioned that his sex dungeon was, “heavily guarded.” At the sex dungeon, R. Kelly made underage girls participate in orgies, and fetish spankings.

Jim DeRogatis who used to work for the Chicago Times and wrote about the allegations that R. Kelly faced previously said that, “the law says that consenting adults may take part in any relationship they want, no matter how nontraditional. Welfare checks by police in both Illinois and Georgia in the past year didn’t lead to any charges; in January, the aspiring singer from Georgia told Cook County police she was ‘fine and did not want to be bothered.'” Jim DeRogatis also said, “I think in the history of rock ‘n’ roll, rock music, or pop culture people misbehaving and behaving badly sexually with young women, rare is the amount of evidence compiled against anyone apart from R. Kelly,” he went on to explain that there are, “dozens of girls not one, not two, dozens with harrowing lawsuits.” Jim DeRogatis interviewed three people who used to be among the threatening singer’s inner circle. Through those interviews, he found out that R. Kelly had rented out properties for half a dozen women who he kept around so that he could do with them as he wished including engaging “in sexual encounters that he records,” and used the properties to house them.

His ‘After Party’ tour was ground to a halt. R. Kelly released a statement in response.  The statement said, “The decision to cancel the show was by the promoter, in breach of their agreement and out of Mr. Kelly’s control. He’s sorry his Memphis fans are disappointed and will do his best to make it up to them. Soon. As always, he thanks all of his fans for their support.”

A woman by the name of Jerhonda Pace said that she was a victim of R. Kelly’s. She met him after attending a trial where he faced child pornography charges she was fifteen at the time, but admittedly told R. Kelly that she was nineteen. When she admitted her actual age he told her to lie and continued the relationship. She said, “I was slapped and I was choked and I was spit on,” which occurred after she was found to be texting with one of her friends.

Jerhonda Pace offered her advice to the other women currently at R. Kelly’s house. She said, “If I can speak out and I can help them get out of that situation, that’s what I will do.” She added, “I didn’t have anybody to speak up on my behalf when I was going through what I was going through with him. He’s brainwashed them really bad, and it kind of reminds me of Charles Manson.” She continued, “I just really hope I can help these women out. Kelly needs to be stopped.”
