The Kardashians share their emotions on Bruce Jenner’s ultimate reveal on Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce.
Two exclusive clips on NBC’s Today show already show daughter Kendall Jenner and step-daughter Khloe Kardashian sitting next to Bruce as he shares how he broke the news to family members and how they reacted to it.
Kendall is seen tearing and says, “I’m gonna get a tissue.”
As she walks away with Khloe it may appear as anger that caused the abrupt fleet, but Kendall says she is overtaken by her “amazing” father.
“He’s the most important person I know . I couldn’t ask for a better dad. He taught me how to ride a bike and be the tomboy that I am,” explains Kendall as a montage of her as a little girl and her dad hanging out plays in the background.
Kim Kardashian on the other hand keeps composed as she is shown with Bruce in the second clip.
Bruce shares with Kim another secret he had been keeping from the family and the world.
“I’ve had secrets all my life,” Bruce confesses.
He proceeds to take off his shows and show Kim his hot pink pedicure and announces that he enjoys painting his own nails.
“Your feet are actually way more feminine than I ever would imagined. I am impressed,” Kim jokingly replies.
The relaxed and joking environment Kim created continues as Bruce begins to admit that he even does “very good in the makeup department” and tells Kim he can do hers.
“I could do it all, baby,” he jokes and laughs.
The episode shows the serious side of Bruce like in past interview with Diane Sawyer, but it also brings out his sarcastic and jokester personality audiences are familiar with from his appearance on the Kardashians’ show.
During the 20/20 interview he even told audiences that Kanye West helped his wife get through his big reveal.
Kim as well is being extremely supportive by helping her family accept Bruce’s transition.
“He has to deal with this for his entire life of waking up and feeling like ‘whoa, this isn’t my body. This doesn’t feel comfortable,” she tells mom, Kris Jenner in the two-part episode.
“You really have to like let go,’ she continues.
It seems that the only member that cannot get over Bruce’s transition reveal is his former wife, Kris Jenner.
Part one of the E! special premieres Sunday, May 17, at 9:00 p.m. on E!.
Part two will air the next night on E!, Monday, May 18, at 9:00 p.m.
