So this week in San Diego, California the annual Comic-Con is going on. For all nerds alike this means the unveiling of countless cool things. Fans have also been enjoying long-awaited movie trailer unveilings. So what exactly has been unveiled so far?
Well, the movie Suicide Squad has been building up hype for quite some time. Any kind of glimpse into the film is greatly appreciated. This is because it’s all the villains combined into one movie! Yes, sounds very thrilling. So today the audiences were introduced to a new trailer about the film. It gave a little more backstory as to what is occurring. Basically, the new trailer outlines a little more of the plot. Suicide Squad comes out on August 5, 2016.
A different hero themed movie that made it’s debuting trailer is Wonder Woman. The trailer involves the epic backstory of, of course, Wonder Woman herself. The movie contains a star-studded cast including Gal Gadot, Christopher Pine, and Danny Huston. The movie also includes some stellar battle scenes between the Amazons and men. The effects already look pretty amazing, as does the acting. Though everyone will just have to see for themselves on June 2, 2017.
The last DCÂ super hero movie mention is going out to Justice League. This, of course, follows Batman and Wonder Woman as they try to get their heroic gang together. Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot truly morph into the hero world well. This trailer also includes sneak peaks at the characters of The Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher). This movie includes so many amazingly talented actors and actresses. People all over the globe are very excited to see what the DC studio has come up with.The movie is presumably appearing on November 17, 2017.
Diving into the more magical realm, Harry Potter fans were blessed. Comic-Con included a trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Many stars including Eddie Redmayne, Ezra Miller, and Samantha Morton are in the cast. The movie goes into some explanation behind the fantastical creatures of the Harry Potter Universe. Some of them get released, and the question is, do they find them? Fans will just simply have to wait until the movie appears in order to solve the mystery. According to the official website, the film is set to air in November of 2016. So it is super exciting and just a few months away.
Jumping back into the world of super heroes, Marvel’s Dr. Strange aired a trailer. The trailer involves amazing effects as well as a peek at the plot. Plus this film has Benedict Cumberbatch, many know him as Sherlock. Cumberbatch has also appeared in numerous amounts of other movies including The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, Star Trek Into Darkness, and Stephen Hawking. The movie also involves more actors and actresses which are Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, and Mads Mikkelsen. The movie is set to premier November 4, 2016.
So Comic-Con is already kind of a huge success. It unites all fandoms for one epic week for basically everything nerd related. This is great because it allows peoples’ imaginations to be free, even just for a moment. The great thing about Comic-Con is that it really has something for everyone.
