Where Taylor Swift Wants to be in 10 Years

The 25 year old popstar, Taylor Swift, has more goals for herself than just her next album. In a recent interview with ITV News, she was asked the dreaded question: where does she see herself within the next 10 years? Rather than answering with something about business or another album, she had a more family oriented response.

In 10 years, Swift hopes to have a family. However, unlike many celebrities, she wants to protect her future children from the craziness that comes with her stardom. One celebrity she admires for doing so is Angelina Jolie. Swift says that Joilie can live,

“her life not just for the purpose of making money or coming up with the most lucrative business deals.”

It is obviously much more than the money and success for Swift.

Oddly enough, in an interview with InStyle Magazine just last year, Swift said,

“I don’t know if I’ll have kids. It’s impossible not to picture certain scenarios and how you would try to convince them that they have a normal life when, inevitably, there will be strange men pointing giant cameras at them from the time they are babies.”

In March, the star told The Telegraph,

“Let’s be honest. No one’s going to sign up for this and everything that goes with it. ‘Hi, nice to meet you, want a date? Do you love camera flashes? I hope you do… I don’t know what’s going to happen if I’m ever content in a relationship—no idea how that’s going to work. I don’t even know if that’s possible with the life I have.”

Luckily for her, she met Calvin Harris and it seems as though all of those bad thoughts disappeared.
