Winona Ryder Poses for Rag & Bone

Winona Ryder stars in her first fashion campaign since 2003 for New York based company, Rag & Bone. The brand also enlisted actor Michael Pitt, who posed for their upcoming menswear collection.

The fall/winter 2014 campaign was shot on Coney Island by Glen Luchford. The actress’ last campaign was shot 10 years prior for Marc Jacobs for the brands spring/summer 2003 collection.

Her first fashion campaign was landed after her court date. Winona was arrested in 2001 for shoplifting from a department store in Beverley Hills. Her loot included $5,550 worth of merchandise and a Marc Jacobs romper retailing $760. Two years later, Jacobs hired her for his spring/summer 2003 campaign. The designer knew the controversy and talk that would arise after the campaigns were released and took the task head on. Ten years later, the actress booked her second gig, void of controversy or court dates.

Managing partner for Rag & Bone, Marcus Wainwright, has said, “To us, Winona Ryder is a bona fide icon. She also has this beautiful timeless quality.”

The campaign, which was revealed on WWD this Tuesday shows Winona in black and white donning an over-sized blazer under a bridge in Coney Island.

Keep an eye out for the full campaign, as it will be released later in the summer.
