Wedding bells will soon be ringing for Pippa Middleton, younger sister to the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate. Dubbed “the world’s most famous bridesmaid,” Pippa is expected to have a wedding to rival her sister’s royal one. The 32-year-old’s fiancé is 40-year-old hedge fund manager and owner of Eden Rock Capital Management, James Matthews. Much like Pippa’s family, his parents are self-made millionaires, though instead of a party supply service, they own the Eden Rock Hotel in St. Barths.
Pippa stepped out today in a white, eyelet dress, her large new engagement ring flashing on her finger. The central diamond is top quality, Asscher cut, and surrounded by a halo of diamonds. The ring has a very Art-Deco inspired feel but is also modern. James Matthews reportedly proposed last weekend, while the couple was in the Lake District. Pippa was grinning as she stepped out to announce the match, and reports say that Pippa’s family is also thrilled with the news. A representative of Kate and William said, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are absolutely delighted with the news,” and Pippa’s father stated, “They make a wonderful couple and we wish them every happiness together.”
