2016 Beauty Products We Couldn’t Live Without!

Hello beauty fans, we can’t believe the year is almost over! You know what that means…it’s time to talk about all the beauty products we couldn’t live without in 2016! So, grab your favorite drink, settle in, and let ‘s talk beauty!

These are all products I love using on myself and my clients. These are my recommendations, but keep in mind what works for some might not work for others. Muah!

There were so many amazing beauty products that came out this year as well as some all-time favorites that are always on the year end list! We are going to break down our favorites by category, so buckle up and let’s step on the gas!

Oily Skin Types-
My fave for my oily clients is the Smashbox Photo Finish Oil-Free Pore Minimizing Foundation Primer, $39.

Dry Skin Types-
MAC- Natural Radiance Primer, $42.
Becca- Backlit Primer, $38.

Oily Skin Types-
Kat Von D- Lock It Foundation, $35.

L’Oréal Paris- Infallible Pro Matte, $12.99.

Dry Skin Types-
Armani- Luminous Silk, some things never change! $42

Too Faced- Born This Way Foundation, $39. This is a great foundation but I had an allergic reaction to it, so for me, it doesn’t work, but a lot of my clients love it, so it has to make the list!

MAC-Face and Body, $28 for 50ml and $38 for 120ml.

Tarte Shape Tape-Good coverage and doesn’t feel cakey! $24

MAC -Mineralize Concealer-You all know I am desert dry so this is the only concealer that doesn’t dry me out, you know it was going to end up on the list! $22

Setting Powder
Oily Skin Types-
Laura Mercier Translucent Setting powder great for my oily beauty babies! $38

Dry Skin Types-
Love the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Powders. This looks amazing on all skin types and gives you that soft airbrushed look, $33.

Too Faced- Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer, $30.

MAC- Warm Soul. This is my all-time favorite, what can I say I love that healthy glow, this works well on both oily or dry skin types! $28

Makeup Geek- Spellbound and Infatuation, $ 7 each.

Becca- Wild Honey, $ 32.

Jeffree Star Cosmetics- Pretty much ALL of his highlighters are bomb.com. My favorites are Ice Cold, King Tut, and Dark Horse. $29 each.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Powder- In Champagne Pop and Opal, $38 each. You know Becca was going to make the list!

Eye Shadow Primer
MAC -Paint Pots Soft Ochre, Painterly, Groundwork, and Quite Natural, $22.

Eyeshadow Pallets
Best Warm Pallet-
Anastasia of Beverly Hills – Modern Renaissance Pallet, absolutely love this pallet! $42.
If you are looking for something similar but with bigger pans and a few more color options you can also try the Violet Voss Holy Grail pallet, $45.

Best Combo Pallet-
Kat Von D –  Shade and Light Eye Contour Pallet. Has options for Neutral, Warm, and Cool! $48

Individual Shadows
Colourpop- Lovely and Nillionaire, $5 each

Makeup Geek-Cocoa Bear, Peach Smoothie, Bitten, and Corrupt, $6 each

MAC-Soft Brown, Saddle, and Embark, $17 each. If you get the pallet pans they are $6 each
Slow-Fast-Slow, $18, does not come in a pallet form.

Melt Cosmetics- Rust Stack. The shadows are HUGE; you get a lot for your money! $58

MAC-Tan, Rose Gold, and Rose $22 each.

You all know I usually don’t wear eyeliner but when I do its either Lancôme or NYX!
Lancôme- Art Liner, $30.50.

NYX- Super Skinny Eye Marker, $9.50.

Too Faced- Better Than Sex Mascara. They have both waterproof and non-waterproof versions! $23 each.

MAC- In Extreme Dimension, $23.

Lip Scrubs
Jeffree Star- He makes the list again! His scrubs are edible and smell AMAZING! $12.

Lip Primer
MAC- Prep and Prime Lip, $17.50.

Lip Liners
MAC-Staunchly Stylish, Whirl, Nightmoth, Burgundy, Half Red, Soar, $17.50 each.

MAC- Viva Glam II and V, Velvet Teddy, Japanese Maple, $17 each.

Melt Cosmetics- Shady Lady, Dark Room, Nood, $19 each.

Liquid Lipsticks
Jeffree Star- He slayed the makeup game this year and dominated with his velour liquid lipsticks! Best formula out of all the brands on the market. It is not over drying and is soooo pigmented! My top faves are Mannequin, Celebrity Skin, Leo, and Unicorn Blood just to name a few. But let’s be real, I pretty much own them all! $18 each.

Anastasia of Beverly Hills- Pure Hollywood, $20.

Brow Products
Benefit- Ka-Brow Cream Gel, $24.

Brow Gel
Anastasia of Beverly Hills- Hands down best brow gel on the market! $22.

Setting Spray
Urban Decay- Chill Setting Spray, $31.

Finishing Spray
MAC- Fix + $23 for full size, $12 for travel size.
