Many would believe Kanye West would be putting his Yeezy duties on hold to focus on his music due to him releasing his latest album “Ye” less than a month ago.

But that is the complete opposite of what West is doing. The 21 time Grammy winner without warning released his latest Yeezy campaign on June 12. The campaign keeps its main focus on one pair of sneakers, which is shown in one colorway, the Yeezy 500 Supermoon Yellow sneaker.

According to a 2018 Fashionista report, The campaign was photographed by Eli Russell Linnetz, who previously worked with the Kardashian/West/Jenner clan for its family Christmas card, the imagery features a diverse group of models wearing the brand’s sneakers, some muted athleisure apparel and not much else.

West recruited a handful of influencers and Internet celebrities.

According to a 2018 Fashionista report,”Supermoon” is a follow-up to West’s #YeezySeason6 social media advertisements in January, which recreated Kim Kardashian West’s errand-running “paparazzi” photos with a slew of Kim lookalikes and Insta-celebrities, including Paris Hilton, Jordyn Woods, Amina Blue and Sarah Snyder.

Also, there is a lot of embracing between Bad Girls Club alumni turned Instagram stars the Clermont Twins, in the campaign. The sisters shared their contributions to the Supermoon campaign on Twitter, sharing a few topless photos.

Porn Star Lela Star also modeled the Yeezy 500 Supermoon Yellow sneakers in the campaign along with one of her fellow porn stars.

According to a 2018 HipHop DX report, In her exclusive “behind the scenes” video for the shoot, Lela Star said it was “unplanned” and she only got the call to be in the ads the day before she was scheduled to be on set. She also said that a fellow porn actress, Nicolette Shea, was also roped into the shoot when she mentioned her name to the Yeezy team (and she is, in fact, the blonde woman in the nude shoot with Lela Star).
