Urban Decay junkies, the news you’ve been waiting for has finally arrived. Yep, there’s a new Naked palette…and this one is entirely matte!
For those of you unfamiliar with the brand, Urban Decay is known for their best-selling Naked Palettes, all four of which contain unique nude shadows with various undertones, hues and finishes. But Urban Decay has, for the most part, left their eyeshadows shimmering and sparkling, leaving customers begging for a matte palette. The two Naked Basics palettes catered to this desire, but they are smaller than the traditional Naked palettes.
The new Naked Ultimate Basics palette will, therefore, contain 12 all new eye shadow shades, 11 of which are matte, with one demi-matte shade to use as a highlight. Unlike the rest of the Naked family, which comes in rectangular packaging, this palette is square shaped. It also contains a mirror and Urban Decay’s dual ended eyeshadow brush. One end is for smudging, the other for blending, so you can create that perfect smoky eye.
If you’re as excited about this new palette as I am, don’t worry, the wait isn’t long. It will be on Urbandecay.com on Sept. 18, and sells for $55.
