Zuhair Murad’s Fall 2015 Haute Couture show was nothing short of a sparkle fest. Consistent sheer and velvet materials sparkled, adding to a mystical, fairytale feel. The dim stage and complimenting sparkled backdrop of the catwalk created dramatic ambiance, emphasizing the bold colors of each look from the fall collection.
Ruby reds, rich oxbloods, popping indigos, subtle creams, bold aquas and pale blues reigned supreme throughout. Be sure to make note of the celebrated designer’s use of metallic detailing, revealingly low necklines, pocketed gowns, luscious furs, and eye-catching slits
The standout look of the collection was the avant-garde wedding gown fit for a princess. Sparkly star embellishments glittered the entire ensemble, from the floor-grazing veil secured by a statement-making crown to the sheer bodice to the trained skirt.
Murad’s pieces have seen the likes of quite a few celebrities recently. Gone Girl actress and model Emily Ratajkowski wore a strapless black corset dress from Murad’s Spring 2015 Collection at the LA premiere of Entourage. At the London premiere of Magic Mike XXL, actress and wife of hunky hottie Channing Tatum, wore a Fall 2015 white jumpsuit. Just this weekend, Former Glee star Lea Michele wore a head-to-toe red ensemble from Murad’s Spring 2015 collection at Entertainment Weekly’s Comic-Con 2015 Party.
