Halloween costumes are, for the most part, quite predictable. A witch here, sparkling vampire there, maybe even a slutty nurse or five. But this Halloween, the world was shocked to discover the existence of the most expensive costumes known to man. And we don’t just mean the priciest costume set at Party City, we mean big bucks—1.6 million of them.
Designed by MorphCostumes, the so-rightly-called Million Dollar Morphsuit features 70,000 head-to-toe diamonds, and is currently locked away in a London vault. “It’s probably not the most comfortable of our offerings, but if you roll the head part down, you can still be covered 90% in diamonds,” Gregor Lawson, co-founder of MorphCostumes, told fox8.com.
So is anyone really serious (or psychotic) enough to buy this (literally) dripping with diamonds getup? Or would we all much rather put that $1.6 million towards, oh I don’t know, a killer NYC pad? Just a suggestion, but the costume is a good idea too, I guess.
