Iggy Azalea to Host House of Style Reboot!

Iggy Azalea has had quite the year. From multiple hit songs, including “Fancy,” “Problem” and “No Mediocre,” to being considered to play the part of Cher in the broadway rendition of “Clueless.”

What’s next on the Australian rapper’s plate?

She will be taking over as host of the “House of Style” reboot on MTV, which was formerly hosted by Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls. The reboot will be featured as a web-only series and is set for eight episodes.

The original “House of Style” aired on MTV in 1989 and was hosted by a variety of different models, including Cindy Crawford and Molly Sims. The tagline for the show was “Models, music, and MTV.” However, the network pulled the series from the air in 2000.

For Iggy’s edition of “House of Style,” the series will be focused mainly on street style around the Los Angeles area. According to Us magazine, the star will take viewers to vintage shops with Jeremy Scott and on music sets with Rita Ora.

The series leads up to the 2014 MTV VMA Awards, where Iggy will join the network for a “House of Style” VMA fashion special, which will air on MTV Aug. 26 at 7 p.m.
